Gwen looking cool at the grocery store. She also has a big scab on her cheek. We have lots of mosquitos here in Woods Cross and when Gwen gets bitten she scratches it until it bleeds. No fun!

And of course September is Finn's birthday month! He turned seven years old! He wanted a friend party this year. We had pizza, popcorn and opened presents. Then we watched a movie on the projector.

Finn got lots of cool presents including some fun hot wheels tracks.

Gwen likes to climb and feels comfortable playing in places that make me nervous.

Finn's family party. We always start out with birthday breakfast with decorations and balloons and then we spread the gifts out all day. We started spreading gifts out because when Finn was little he didn't like opening a lot of gifts at once so we started spreading it out and now it's a fun tradition.

Finn is creative and compassionate. He brings peace to our home and is often the one to resolve conflicts with his sisters. He is quite and thoughtful unless he thinks something is really fun then he is the loudest in the bunch. He loves to laugh and he reads lots of Garfield and Calvin and Hobbes. He is good in school though it's not his favorite thing and hardly needs any help when it comes to math homework. He is like his Dad in that when he makes a friend he makes a friend for life. He also has lots of his Dad's mannerisms. I love my two steady, strong and quite loving boys!

I love how Gwen will watch TV on her tummy with her head in her hands. Too cute!

Finn was letting his sister's play Hot Wheels with him.

Every once in a while I will make tape tracks all over our living room for the kids to play cars with. Its fun and easy and doesn't make much of a mess.

Lila loves little stores in the mall where you can get accessories and she has been passing that love on to Gwen.

September also marked the arrival of Kait and Garrett's first baby, Jocelyn! She was born on Sept. 16, same day as Finn. She had some trouble once she got here and had to be life flighted to Primary Children's. We are so grateful for hospitals that can care for these sweet babies.

Though all of this Jocelyn was a so content.
