July 17, 2013 Gwen Marissa Richins was born. She weighed 7 lbs and 14 oz and was 21.5 inches long. She was born at LDS Hospital at 9:46 am via c-section. This is me the morning of the big day. Very ready to have this baby.

When Gwen was born she just howled! Her cry was by far the loudest of our kids. Levi took a video of her crying so you can hear for yourself. She cried like this until they took her into the room with me and let her eat. She nursed for forty minutes and promptly fell asleep. Despite her first minutes in life she really doesn't cry much and is content most of the time.
Finn and Lila really took to Gwen. Though Finn insists that her name is Maggie and won't call her anything else.

Lila looking all cute in a new outfit that Grandma Kathy got for her. My mom came and spent a whole week with us to help after Gwen was born. I loved having her here! Thanks for all your help Mom!

Beautiful, beautiful baby! I loved seeing all the pics on your blog. It's been awhile since I checked it. As usual, I took a bunch of pics into my iPhoto. What a cute little family you have.
